It’s that time of year again. The time of year where I have every good intention of adding a home made touch to my Christmas presents. But, without fail, every year I run out of time. Then come January I think: I’m going to make one item a month and stockpile for the year….yeah. That doesn’t happen either.
Well, for those of you who actually can get their act together, I’ve started a Pinterest board with a plethora of crafty, hand sewn gift ideas. For the photographers, the teachers, the travelers, and others in your life, most tutorials and patterns listed are free. I will be adding and expanding as I come across more fun items.
I made this lunch bag for my daughter’s pre-school teacher and key fobs for the teacher’s aides last year and it was a big hit. I used the Gingercake’s Waste Free Lunch Bag and Fishstick’s Designs free key fob tutorial. The Mickey zippered kid’s tote is also from Fishstick’s Designs. So what hand sewn gift idea would you like to receive?
